Orchids. This is what it's about.

So, NaNoWriMo April challenge is coming and I'm excited to be working on finishing my draft for Orchids.

Orchids is related to the Volkenheim world, but can be read as a stand alone. It is a part of my ultimate universe which will begin to be explored in the fourth Volkenheim novel. Each novel put out in between the Volkenheim novels will be stand alone, but I would advise all to read them as they are supplementary to the main Volkenheim story. It's okay if you wish not to read these though, as the Volkenheim story will be thorough enough to make sense without reading them.

However, Orchids, since this is a beginning post for what it's about, deal with another one of my favorite animals, but this time, it's a mythical animal: Dragons.

Orchids still has Soul Magic, but it is utilized differently when dealing with Dragons, as this story will explore. My Dragons, while fierce and temperamental, are also very protective and prideful. They have mates and can tell when that mate is near and who it is by scent, among some other things. Since Dragons can have mates outside their own species, Soul Magic comes into play to help those that aren't Dragons understand what's happening. To help the readers along, I have been compiling my own Dragon Mate manual which is used by the human mate to the Dragon King. Yes, I am dropping some spoilers here, but there is much more to it than that.

So, I've given a few spoilers and I should probably wrap it up. I don' want to put out too much information before the story is even completed! Hahaha.

Once I've completed a draft for the story, I might start giving out the character profiles just to whet the appetite for what's to come. Until then, I will keep expanding on my Volkenheim world and information. Thanks for reading. Cheers.
